eni artist collective is a hybrid, dance-focused organization; functioning between a creative agency, production company, and an accessible arts education platform.
Established in 2025 by co-founders and directors, Nicholas LaMaina and Ekko Greenbaum, eni was born in Brooklyn, New York out of necessity. Facing a scarcity of opportunity, community, and nationwide support for the arts, eni’s founding members recognized the urgency of creation and launched their first self-produced show, eni 01, representing the work of thirty-three dance artists and collaborators. Most of these artists also take on administrative or board roles; eni is truly built by its community.

We consistently work to identify and demonstrate the ongoing impact and relevance of dance. We challenge the structures that continue to suppress our art. Despite every challenge, we fight to share the understanding that movement is an essential, irreplaceable tool, one easily forgotten amid the undeniable rise of alternatives to human connection and invention.
Dance is a mode of embodiment, awareness, and expression- the antithesis to what we understand as technological reliance. Movement is not simply "the" answer, but a bridge to agency, empathy, and a heightened, human frequency that synthetic technologies cannot match.
eni will always exist to platform dance artists and adjacent collaborators through creation opportunities, community engagement, equitable compensation, and access to resources like space and class. We strive to remain curious about why what we do matters, and why it's something everyone can (and should) practice, watch, and learn about. It is never too late to discover dance.
