daniel paula

is a Portuguese Canadian dancer and musician/sound designer from Toronto.

A graduate of Juilliard, he has trained in various dance styles since age 11 and has attended summer programs at Nederlands Dans Theater, Ballet BC, Orsolina28, and more.

At Juilliard, Paula has danced the work of choreographers Medhi Walerski, Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber, William Forsythe, Sidra Bell, and Johannes Wieland, among others.

In addition to performance, Paula is very interested in choreography and has created many works at Juilliard and beyond. He also found a passion for music creation and mixing through his own choreography.

He is currently working in Germany at Saarländisches Staatstheater for the 25/26 season.
