hannah l. mayfield
is a New York City–based photographer, videographer, editor, and filmmaker specializing in concert dance and performance-based work.
With over six years of professional experience, her practice centers on creating visual work for dance companies, choreographers, and individual artists, with a particular focus on documenting the choreographic process, rehearsal environments, and performance development. She is known for thoughtful creation-process documentation, creative photo sessions, and a collaborative approach that supports both artistic and institutional needs.
Her clients include Bloch Dancewear, Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, Gibney Dance Center and Gibney Dance Company, Revive and Adrenaline Dance Conventions, Gaga People Dancers, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, and Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, as well as numerous professional dance artists in New York City.
Hannah is a 2025 magna cum laude graduate of Florida International University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Applied Communications. She is based in NYC and available for travel within the U.S. and internationally.
